Principal's message

Since the inception, as a Co-education College, Sri Mahayogi Lakshmamma Government Degree College, Yemmiganur has been working for the benefit of rural strata, students from sections belong to below poverty line, students from marginalized sections and Gender diversity. It has witnessed a vast development in terms of infrastructure, Student enrolment, Staff strength and subject options. It is proud to say, in keeping with its fast expansion as a premier multi-faculty, multi disciplinary subjects; it has earned the reputation of attracting the largest number of students to its various programmes of study from all over the Yemmiganur area and also from some villages of Karnataka border. The students of this institution has proved them successful in many walks of life as Teachers, Lecturers, Soldiers, Police Constables, Bank employees, Administrative officers, farmers, entrepreneurs, Politicians etc. I hope the institution with its untiring efforts, prepare the talented younger cadre of empowered citizens with moral and ethical values through academic cultural, extra and co-curricular activities thereby it paves the way to all-round personality development of student stake holders.
