Computer Science - Profile

 The department of Computer Science was started in the year 2011. It was started with the UG ProgrammeB.Sc Computer Science (MPC’s) which aiming at preparing young minds for globally challenging opportunities in the field of information technology. As information technology has become an integral part of education, the department is providing an environment in which the students obtain the information about emerging technologies for working in the industry.

The Department is striving hard in encouraging the students of Computer Science in building the good academic career with the required curricular inputs and by organizing co-curricular activities like Student seminars, Poster presentation competitions, Quiz Programmes and Field visits. The department is conducting need based certificate courses viz. Digital Literacy, Basic Computer Course, Hardware and Networking. The Students of Computer Science are also encouraged to participate in the Extra-curricular activities organized by NSS and other different clubs of the college.
