Infrastructure - Maintenance Of Infrastructure

Availability of adequate infrastructure and physical facilities viz., classrooms, laboratories, ICT infrastructure, facilities for cultural and sports activities, gymnasium, yoga centre etc. in the institution.

The College has a campus area of 10 acres of lush green land encompassed 06 buildings with a fully secured compound wall.

The infrastructure and physical facilities include the Principal’s chamber, 13 Class rooms, an Administrative Office with individual cube workspace, 08 staff rooms, Library including reading space, IQAC Room, Physical Education Department, Examination Cell, 07 laboratories, NSS Room, Ladies Waiting Room, BRAOU center and APSSDC Skill Hub. There are 100 desktops with a student computer ratio of 6:1 and 06 projectors. Each of these facilities is assigned to an in-charge who follows the duty chart, takes required steps and makes these facilities fully utilized by the students and maintains them regularly.

Ramps:

 Wheel chair Ramp system is provided for all the buildings to enable smooth movement of differently abled persons. 

CC TV Cameras: The College is secured and covered under CC TV surveillance.

Class Rooms:                      

The college has 13well-furnished classrooms with necessary facilities.  Among them 04 classrooms are equipped with ICT facilities like LCD projectors and internetconnectivity and 01 room provided for APSSDC Skill Hub.

 

Laboratories:

Thecollegehas 07 laboratories which include Computer Science, EL, JKC, Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry with required infrastructure.

 

ICT Infrastructure:

100computers, Wifi and Router facility with 60 Mbps internet connectivity, 14 printers, 05 copiers, 06 LCD projectors and 03 inverters are available in 13 departments, JKC Lab, computer lab, EL Laband science labs.

Seminar Hall:          

The college has 01 multipurpose seminar hall equipped with White Board, Stage, Podium,and Public Address System with an internet facility.

Library:

The institution has a library housing diverse collection of 19577 books. The books comprise 9000 latest textbooks purchased from SC, ST, and UGC book banks, 1500 reference books, 9077 books on other subjects and 201 CDs. There are 45 almirahs to store and maintain books.  07departmental libraries are also maintained. N-List is subscribed annually.

Cultural Activities and Yoga

 The college has an open stage, portico in administrative building, seminar hall, an open ground, portable public address system, a shed for conducting yoga and other cultural activities.

Sports and Games field and ground

The college has an area of 16603.1 Sq. Mt of the playground for outdoor games & sports and multi-purpose seminar hall for conducting indoor games and sports.

The physical director trains the students. Students participate in Sports and Games such as Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Cricket, Athletics, Chess, Carroms, Javelin throw, football, Skipping, etc at all levels.

The college has 01 RO water plant, 14 toilets,84 roof top solar panels with 20 KVA, Two rainwater harvesting pits, Vermi compost unit, Fish pond, Hand pump, Ramanujan Garden, Pomo Garden, Medicinal Plant Garden, Botanical Garden, NSS Garden, Chemistry Garden, and Zoology museum housing 70different specimens.
